Timeless

I was thinking earlier when I realised that we always say that God is beyong time, a pretty scary statement the reason for this statements scarryness you shall learn if you keep reading. what makes this so scary is because you realise that time is simply something that we use to measure our lives and events, you see our minds are so finite and simple that we could mot handle to see things the way they really are. it is my opinion that since God is beyond time and time is only something he gave us so that we could function properly then you could say that time is an illusion, in which case all things are alwayshappening which means that Jesus did not die he is dying for our sins and you were not born you are being born. That Changes things a little doesnt it? Jesus death is not just some thing that happend 2000 years ago and ensured that through faith you would go to heaven and eternal bliss and not hell and eternal tourture as we discussed in my last post. So the next time you are tempted to sin (YES YOU DO) remember Jesus is dying so you can be forgiven.

After further concideration I would like to inform you that I have concluded that while this is an interesting and revolutionry not to mention beneficial way to look at things it is not fact but please employ it in your concideration of life and it’s meaning. Zadock

Foretastes

I have been reading The Slumber Of Christianity by Ted DeKker and one of his main points is that everything that is good in our world is a foretaste of heaven. This got me thinking “if all that is good would not all that is bad be a foretaste of Hell”. and since heaven is so much better than the most wonderful things we can experience on earth would Hell not be  so much worse than the worst things we can experience. If my last statement is true then based on my experience with pain which I will admit is VERY little compared to what manny face far more often than I do, I have NO desire to go to Hell. Do YOU? think about it.

House

ok ted dekker is the best christian fiction author there is and when you combine him with frank Peretti you get an incredible mix so it is no suprise that their book House has been made into a movie set to be released this fall and despite its R rating it will be beyond worth seing becase you get the gospel story told through horror. heres the trailer.
