B.S.F. Wharehouse

Hello Everyone,

I am in York PA. Now visiting with my grandparents and getting oriented to the people who will be going. We just visited the warehouse where all the supplies are stored and it is packed full of School supplies, Hospital Beds, gifts for the people we will meet. I must tell you that as we were walking through the warehouse I was filled with anticipation and eve since we got here I can feel the excitement building inside me. I am really looking forward to getting over there and discovering what God has in store. I know whatever God has planned is BIG and I am seeking him that he would be able to use me with ease to His glory. Please continue to pray for myself and the team that we would be safe, and be used in great ways.

Thank You

   Ethan

Going to GHANA

Most of you know that I am going to Ghana in Sept. However, you may not know what I will be doing, so in this post I will let you know. I am going with “Waters of Love For Ghana” which started several years ago as a result of a couple from Ghana having a passion for their country, placed on their hearts by God. As they talked about their Ideas many other people also caught the vision. One of these people was my grandfather who has put many hours of work into helping this happen. I could detail what happened leading up to and during the first trip however it would take way to long. Waters of Love For Ghana is chiefly concerned with providing clean water to the villages outside of the larger cities, where their only source of water is “surface water” which is often contributed to by animals, humans, and passing vehicles.  In this water live many parasites but the worst is the Guinea Worm. The guinea Worm is a parasite that when ingested will grow in the abdomen until it is too large to remain, at which point it will travel down the leg and exit about halfway down the calf. The process of removing the worm takes from 1 to 3 months and is very painful as it involves wrapping the worm around a stick as it exits at its own pace, it often leaves its victims disfigured or dead. The only way to fight it is to prevent it by providing clean water. This is why we drill wells. There are also many doctors who go to help in a local hospital. Ok so here is my Itinerary for while I am over there.
