since i know the source of the idea to post this. does it still count if i voice an opinion?
well,i could say that truth is like being a cathedral with big windows and having light come in all around me,but that would just be silly.interesting, but silly.
i’m going to go for “truth is reality the way God sees it”
Well, you could think what is the source that which you get your truth from?? That may help decipher some of it.But of course i think it’s “reality the way God sees it.”
Because if i derive my truth from the Bible, and wat is the Bible? the word of God.So if that is His word, then i must get my truth from God’s reality.
Hmmm, interesting choices and comments. I selected from the available choices – “Truth is absolute.” Looks like I’m outvoted so far. Good thing its not up to us. It seems to me that for truth to be “the way God sees it” suggests that truth is something God views from an external perspective and on which He has formed an opinion. This would mean that truth is bigger than God and He must make a value choice regarding truth, and could, theoretically, change his opinion or be wrong. Since God is truth; “I am the way the truth and the light.” truth must originate with God, the absolute authority on all things, and must therefore be absolute.
This operates as the arching site for all posts of what beacame Le Crier in march 09. Before that it was called RevolutionarYouth, but now serves only as archives for posts before march 09.
