Life with Fog

Ever notice how in life we seem to go through seasons where we see things clearly usually followed quickly by a very thick fog which you cannot seem to find the way out of, and then suddenly the fog seems to just go away. It is then you think “well of course there was no fog I was just looking in the wrong direction” then you turn around and are shocked when the fog returns. I think so often we expect to find answers to life’s questions in life itself which is quite absrud to think we could get the answer from the question, when we need simply to get down and look up, that, no He is where we find hope.

Delight

I have written A lot recently about delight so I decided to actually talk directly about delight. God is amazing and incredible and I personally am incapable of looking around and not seeing his beauty reflected in everything(more on this later). But I want to talk for a minuet abut delighting in God, John Pipe says that we are “created to glorify God by enjoying Him forever” I think that far too often we tend to think that God wants us to live a boring life and that if we enjoy life we are not following Gods will for our lives, well I have one thing to Say about this, NOT TRUE. We are to delight in God in everything that we do. When we start delighting in God and enjoying him is when we will truly be living life, there is a reason we enjoy the things we do and that is because God wants us to.

Let quickly take a break here to clarify that I am not saying that sin is OK we must still follow the law as set down by God but within the law we are free to enjoy and delight in God with such freedom I don’t think we have yet experienced.

OK so When we start enjoying God and his creation is when we will start experiencing God. for me this came in the form of many thing but the one that is most obvious is writing I did not used to write but now I write a lot and I love it. since I started writing I have been connecting with God and growing in so many ways I never thought possible. It is mostly based on this experience that I write this and I believe that when you start creating and enjoying God that is when you will truly start to experience God, so enjoy.
